#3: Soz, I've Been Busy
Have you played Elden Ring? No? You should cause it's wonderful and terrifying.
Anyway.
I've been busy with college, and while I love it, it has a unique way of being tiring. I'm not at it 24/7, but it's mentally draining, and I am working on assignments every day to some extent. Look at this perfect grammar, though. The whole journalism thing is really paying off.
When I'm not doing college work, I've been trying to juggle my admiration for several media franchises and entertainment things that have seen recent releases.
Elden Ring is a multi-hundred-hour adventure that I want to complete to the fullest extent I can. The Batman was an engrossing psychological action crime thriller that I want to craft a headcanon for. Ghost has a new album out in about an hour, and the Obi-Wan Kenobi show is finally coming in May.
Y'know when they say too much of a good thing is a bad thing?
There is so much for me to be excited about in movies and games and TV, and I'm not sure if the part of my brain that generates excitement and interest can be spread that thin. So much so that I believe there to be extended periods of the day where my brain doesn't work at all and then it's suddenly 11 pm or so and I'm rambling on a blog, the purpose for which I have completely... you know what I mean.
Anyway.
What about you? When is too much fun media stimulation too much for you and your brain then involuntarily shuts down?
Play Elden Ring, though.
It's a busy week for our Paul!
